Breakfast: Greek Yogurt With Raspberries and Nuts

I love this simple, healthy and wholesome breakfast! It tastes a little tart but ends up being savory with the nuts! Honestly, you can can eat it at any time of the day! It is complete with healthy fat, protein, and nutrient dense complex carbohydrates! It is also one of the most beautiful recipes and one of my absolute favorites!!! Thanks for checking it out!!!!

Ingredients:

1 cup of whole fat Greek yogurt. I love anything local if possible!

As many fresh raspberries as you can fit on the yogurt! I’d say about 1/4 cup

(Some people love using frozen berries, feel free to do this! I struggle with the texture so that’s why I recommended the fresh)!

1 Tablespoon of chopped walnuts

1 Tablespoon of chopped almonds

1 Tablespoon of pumpkin seeds

1 for extra sweetness add 1 chopped date (some people may drizzle honey, I don’t due to the high sugar content, but if the honey helps you eat this healthy meal and avoid packaged yogurts, go for it!).

Instructions:

1) Place the yogurt in your favorite breakfast bowl.

2) Add the raspberries!

3) Add the walnuts, almonds and pumpkin seeds

4) Add the date! If you prefer the meal to be sweeter feel free to add some local honey. Just remember honey, while has wonderful qualities if local, has a lot of sugar. So, if you are trying to lessen your sugar intake I would suggest not using honey.

5) Enjoy!
