Redeemed, Restored, Renewed| A Devotional
“They will be called the Holy People the Redeemed of the Lord; and you will be called Sought After, and City No Longer Deserted.” Isaiah 62:12
Are there areas in your life where you wonder if God will heal or redeem? He promises to! The Bible says, “He who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus.” Phil.1:6
Transformation is both instantaneous and continual. There is an “aha” moment where we realize what Jesus did for us and who God truly is and how wide and deep God’s love for us is. There is a fullness that is placed into our hearts as we receive this message. Our lives become full of new purpose and meaning. His redeeming work has made us whole.
As we continue to live out our faith and daily believe his promises for the mountains and valleys of our lives, he will continue to do a healing work bringing all things to His glory. Our job is to know his word and pray his promises for complete healing over every part of our lives. Nothing is wasted in our lives as we offer it all to Him.
If we let him, he will use our past history and issues with food become a testimony to glorify him and draw others unto himself. It will also allow us to see the restorative power of his work in our own lives and unite us with Him!
Father, thank you for the opportunity to see your amazing work in my life! You have transformed my life! I believe you for the areas of my life that are lacking change, and please give me the strength to walk in faith. Amen.
"Wherever we are, God's in that moment, God's speaking to us, and if we've just got our ears open and our antennas up, there's no lack of inspiration. He's not silent. We just have to be listening." ~ Steven Curtis Chapman
