Yogurt and Peach Smoothie
During the hot July months in Maryland I honestly began looking forward to this drink every day! It reminded me of my grandma because she would make an Armenian yogurt drink called Tahn. I decided to add a little sweetness to the tang! Any fresh summer fruit can work but my favorite combination includes fresh peaches or apricots and wineberries or raspberries.
Ingredients:
-One cup of full fat yogurt. Many times I use greek yogurt, but my favorite brand has been stony field or any local brand.
-1 large peach pitted and cut into slices
-1/3 cup of raspberries or wineberries
-optional ice 3 pieces
Instructions:
Dump the yogurt into a blender
Add the peaches, berries and ice
blend on high for less than 1 minute
Drink and enjoy the amazing combination of sweet and tang! So refreshing!!!!! save some for later before your workout:).
