The Minimalist
This program is a 68 page Ebook full of both fun and challenging workouts that are completely unique. I have named this program “The Minimalist” because it is all about getting back to the basics and focusing on what is really important in lifting and life. It allows you to keep lifting as a priority but still be able to meet the demands of life and care for your relationships. The goal will be able to keep your body healthy and strong as you continue to simplify and focus on what matters the most.
There is no extra fat in here. No “fluff” to fill time and no added exercises that are unnecessary. This program is for people who want to get in the gym, work hard and get back out in the shortest, most efficient way possible. You can always add more to a program, but rarely do you come across something that just cuts it down to the most basic truths and essentials.
This is a 12 Week Program consisting of 4 Waves. Each wave is 3 weeks and each week has 4 workouts provided. You will see the best results possible if you are able to keep 24-48 hours between strength workouts, but do the best you can. - life is going to be life... We know there are things we cannot control in life. My goal is to help give you an attainable roadmap to taking control of a part of your life. Your training!
Each programmed day has a focus on a particular main mover as well as a designated intensity (how much something weighs) of Heavy, Medium and Light. The intensities undulate throughout the week and entire program so that you are never slammed with 4 brutal days in a row and your recovery can be optimal for your next training session. It is best if you know the basic barbell strength movements prior to beginning. If you want to begin this program and do not know the basic barbell strength movements but want to learn please let me know prior to purchasing.
Each training day should run between 30-50 Minutes depending on how heavy you are going and each session is broken into 3 Sections - The first is your Strength Giant Set. Giant sets are similar to circuit training in that you will go directly from your first exercise, to the second to the third without rest for the entire round. Once the entire round is complete, there is a provided “Rest” period where you should be recording and manipulating your weights before moving onto your next set. If you are looking for a program that covers the essentials of strength training while still allowing you to have the energy and time to perform the tasks needed in your busy life than this program is perfect for you!!!!!
